Eine Froschelampe ist ein Geleucht für den Bergbau, mit diesem fuhren die Bergleute unter Tage, um im Schein dieser Lampe zu arbeiten. Sie ist aus Metall in der Form eines sitzenden Frosches und wird deshalb als Froschlampe bezeichnet. In die Schale wird flüssiges Wachs gegossen und ein Docht eingesetzt. Der Haken am oberen Ende ist zum Aufhängen gedacht. Sie ist gegossen und geschmiedet und verschraubt. Am Boden und an der Seite gibt es Spuren, wo wahrscheinlich ein Grad abgeschliffen wurde.
