Dealer in frames, mirrors, prints and lithographs before turning to photography. Operator at this address of François Deron’s branch studio, which he left in 1863 to start up on his own account in Brussels. There was thus a break in occupancy of the studio between Dechamps and César Mitkiewicz.

According to the population registry he left for Liège on 2.10.1880.
